Stay at a Hotel near Cambridge for Leisure and PleasureNewmarket is a lively bustling market town, with its main focus revolving around the world of horseracing. Many of the country’s top trainers have stable yards and use the gallops which are located amongst rolling and attractive chalk heath land within the beautiful Suffolk countryside. For its size, no other market town has seen so much history, intrigue and scandal. It continues to amaze. After all, where else do you know that gives horses the automatic right of way and their own traffic lights? When staying at the hotel and visiting both Newmarket and Cambridge, why not visit some of the smaller villages in Suffolk where the old buildings and traditions have remained the same over the years? The area certainly has more than its fair share of churches, museums and festivals. Suffolk is fortunate enough to have some of the best preserved watermills and windmills still in working order to this day.
