‘Silks’
Swynford Paddocks
offers the elegant and colonial styled conservatory as a relaxed area for
those seeking a stylish and refreshing alternative venue to dine and
entertain friends and family. Silks can comfortably seat sixty guests
and is the perfect setting for any special occasion especially birthdays,
christenings and wedding anniversaries. The conservatory doors lead onto our
top terrace allowing access to the outdoor seating area. Beautiful during
the day with the sunshine flowing in or just as delightful in the evening
with candles burning……
Byron Room
Our elegantly
furnished room with wood panels is the ideal choice for intimate dining,
whatever the celebration, Byron can suit you needs. From one large table
seating 22 guests, to four tables able to accommodate 40 guests this room
offers it all. The famous poet has his words on canvas around the room and
his oil painting above the fireplace adds that little bit extra to
proceedings.
Augusta Suite
Named after Lord
Byron’s sister with whom he had an incestuous affair, her picture
overlooking the layout, this room is perfect for formal dining. A long table
stretching out from the fireplace offers the guests that chance to dress up
for the evening and entertain friends whilst enjoying the feeling of being
at home, although without all the clearing up afterwards. Able to
accommodate 12 to 50 guests for a sit down menu function. Also perfect for a
drinks and canapés reception this room is universal in it’s make up and can
be tailored to suit the occasion. The Augusta suite is connected to the
luxury marquee and is the starting area for all large functions and parties,
also in the spring and summer month’s access is possible outside to the
terraces to relax with champagne in the afternoon air.
Luxury Marquee
Our splendid luxury
marquee set in the grounds of the hotel ensures a unique venue to hold your
function or party, able to accommodate up to 220 guests the marquee is all
you need. With a self contained function bar, and flashing LED dance floor,
the guests will be enthralled at your choice. Add to the quality of the look
with coloured linen and ceiling drapes, with chair covers. Our marquee
offers you a blank canvas for your most creative of ideas.
Pergola
Our private outdoor
dining area offers the most superb area to relax and unwind for up to 10
guests around one table, or spread out on the decking area for drinks and a
barbeque. Our staff will look after your needs as you settle down to food
and drink whilst looking on into the adjacent paddocks at the future racing
champions? The Pergola is perfect in the early evening as the setting sun
drifts down behind the trees……
